Terms of Service
Effective: July 2026
1. What Stootr is
Stootr is a productivity app built around curiosity-driven reminders. You add a task and pair it with a question. Stootr resurfaces that question at a random time. The task is what you find when you open it. That's the product.
2. Purchasing
Stootr is sold as a one-time lifetime purchase during early access. By completing a purchase you receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the software for personal use. You do not own the software — you own a license to use it.
3. Early access
The product is in early access. That means features may change, break, or be removed. We will communicate significant changes before they happen. Using Stootr during early access means accepting that the product is not finished.
4. Refunds
Refund terms will be published before purchases go live. We will not write a policy that sounds fair but is a fight in practice. If you have a problem after purchasing, email steve@stootr.app and we will figure it out.
5. What we don't promise
We do not guarantee that Stootr will work for your ADHD, fix your productivity, or be available forever. We're a small team building something we think is useful. We'll do our best. That's an honest commitment, not a legal warranty.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Stootr to do anything illegal, harass anyone, or attempt to reverse engineer or resell the software. Basic stuff.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update the effective date above and notify users who've purchased. Continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms.
