Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. When you use the app, we collect the tasks and questions you add, and basic usage data — things like whether you opened a ping, marked something done, or snoozed it. We use this to understand whether the product is working.

2. What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use your task content to train AI models. Your tasks are yours.

3. Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to run the product — for things like email delivery and infrastructure. These services process data on our behalf and are bound to handle it responsibly. We don't use third-party analytics that track you across the web.

4. AI-generated questions

If you use the AI credits add-on, your task content is sent to an LLM API to generate a question. It is not stored by us beyond what's needed to deliver the feature, and is not used to train models.

5. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your data. We may retain anonymized usage aggregates (not tied to you) for product analytics.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time. Email steve@stootr.app and we'll handle it promptly.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date and notify users. We won't quietly expand what we do with your data.
